GE JP3030DJBB cutout dimensions (30-inch electric cooktop)
GE's installation instructions 31-2001182 give one countertop cutout for its 30-inch electric cooktops: 28 1/2 to 28 5/8 in for the length of cut and 19 5/8 to 19 3/4 in for the width of cut.

Does this cutout apply to the JP3030DWBB?
Unconfirmed. GE's support page for the older JP3030DWBB links to these same instructions, but the model table in them lists JP3030DJBB, JP3030DJWW and JP3030SJSS, not the DWBB. GE's product page lists the JP3030DWBB at 4 H x 29.75 W x 20.875 D and says it is no longer manufactured. Until a GE document names the DWBB, treat its cutout as unconfirmed.
What if my existing opening is larger?
GE's instructions list a JXTR32 cutout filler trim kit for 30-inch models, for countertop cutouts larger than shown, up to 29‑13/16" x 20‑7/16". The part numbers are JXTR32B (black) and JXTR32W (white).
